Ever since National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Dr. Anthony Fauci said he was going to step down from his position as the “God of COVID” in December, he’s been on a farewell tour, appearing on various networks to make sure everyone knows what a great job he’s done.
The latest appearance of 81-year-old Fauci was on Neil Cavuto’s show on FOX News on Tuesday. When discussing data from the Wall Street Journal that showed states that didn’t lockdown as much as others were better off. Cavuto asked if Fauci went too far with his lockdowns.
Fauci, incredulously said, “Well, I don’t think it’s forever irreparably damaged anyone.”
WTF??????
What planet does he live on?
People couldn’t get medical treatment including brain surgery during the lockdowns. I know this for a fact because a good friend of mine died because of this.
Teenagers killed themselves because they got depressed when they couldn’t go to school.
People lost their businesses and jobs; they couldn’t have funerals for loved ones; they couldn’t host weddings; millions were locked in their homes causing depression, drug use and undiagnosed and untreated medical issues; the elderly were dying in nursing homes alone because of governmental abuse and neglect…
The list is endless…
And Fauci actually has the stones to tell us that no one was irreparably damaged by what him and Biden and the governors and the local health departments and the leftist media and the CDC and the FDA and the rest of the democrats and scared RINOS did to us? SERIOUSLY????!!!!
Fauci, who has been the NIAID director since 1984, has had way too much power for too long and Trump unwittingly made him the face of the COVID response which was a HUGE mistake. Fauci hasn’t wanted to give up that power until now.
But it’s glaringly obvious why he’s leaving at the end of the year – it’s because he knows he’d be spending lots and lots of time in front of the Republican controlled House of Representatives.
Biden bid a fond farewell to his buddy by saying, ““I’ve been able to call him at any hour of the day for his advice as we’ve tackled this once-in-a-generation pandemic.”
Biden laughably went on to say, “His commitment to the work is unwavering, and he does it with an unparalleled spirit, energy, and scientific integrity.”
Scientific integrity? Yeah, right. Those are NOT two words that come to mind when I think of politically- motivated Hillary-Clinton loving Anthony Fauci.
Fauci said of his friend Joey, “I am particularly proud to have served as the Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden since the very first day of his administration.”
And now sadly, their bromance will come to a close at the end of the year.
But don’t worry. I’m sure the democrats will find someone even worse to replace him.
