The war against cops (and us) continues. The leftists want to protect the criminals and leave the police and American citizens as sitting ducks to whatever crimes their criminal friends want to commit.
The accidental shooting of Dante Wright is just another opportunity for them – another excuse for the leftists to come up with more insane demands that will result in less law and order and more violence and murders of the law abiding American public.
The leftists don’t seem to understand that many of the situations that go bad between the police and criminals are the result of routine situations.

In the American Thinker, former detective Bob Weir writes about the violent situations he has faced during his 20 years with the NYPD. He said that some of the most violent situations began with something as “innocuous as a family dispute.”
He continues to say that even though 99.99% of police stops result in cooperation and often a person being able to continue with their day without any kind of legal charges, things can go wrong fast when the person thinks they are above the law and resist arrest.
Weir explains that anyone willing to fight a cop is likely to kill him in order to escape. Resisting arrest seems to be the common theme when police end up shooting suspects.
So what is policing? According to Merriam-Webster, the definition of police is “the department of government concerned primarily with maintenance of public order, safety, and health and enforcement of laws and possessing executive, judicial and legislative powers.”
More simply, it’s the prevention, detection and prosecution of nuisances and crimes.
It’s what keeps us in a civil society.
The leftists want to get rid of the civil society. All of their words and actions prove that.
The newest proof of this comes from the Mayor of Brooklyn Center, where Daunte Wright was accidentally shot and killed.
Mayor Mike Elliot has decided to take the side of the social justice warriors and held a press conference where he talked about police reform.
But the Mayor’s idea of police reform is actually retreat. He wants to help out the criminals by removing the guns from the police. He doesn’t think that police officers need to have weapons every time they make a traffic stop.
Leftists are unserious people. They are either totally ignorant or totally evil or a combination of both.
Will the police be able carry a taser? A baton? A knife? A fork? Anything at all? Or will the criminals get way too upset about being confronted by the police and break into tears?
Would a fork have helped four year veteran police officer Joshua Lott when he was shot by a criminal during a traffic stop in Texas on Wednesday after the man carjacked a woman which resulted in her death?
How about the New Mexico police officer, Darian Jarrott, who was shot in the head and killed in February during a traffic stop? Maybe he should brought out a lollipop for the suspect in the car and a free coupon for Denny’s.
The social justice leftists don’t even seem to care when police officers get shot and killed. They only get up in arms when suspects and criminals get shot. And even then, they only get upset and riot when those suspects and criminals are black people.
Mayor Elliot is apparently clairvoyant and thinks that police should be too. They should be able to see if they need to be armed or not even before they approach the vehicle.
The police should know everyone who is in the vehicle, their intent and what weapons they have because the Mayor doesn’t think that police have to be armed for every traffic stop or “engaged in situations that don’t necessarily call for weapons.”
It’s official. We’re in the middle of crazy.
That’s what happens when we end up under Democrat rule.
Add to that the fact that we are being fed fake news by the leftist media every day as they cover Democratic evil and insanity as normal behavior.
