At the very core of our Conservatism is freedom. We decide what we will do. We make choices based on our own research and observations.
We don’t blindly follow our leaders like the Democrats do.
They don’t care what Obama actually did or what Biden is doing. They are Democrats. Democrat voters only care that a Democrat is in office. That’s all that matters to them. What their leaders do to destroy the country is irrelevant. They follow the cult of personality no matter what.

The late great Rush Limbaugh used to talk about how the Democrats think that Republicans are mind numbed robots and that we took our marching orders from Limbaugh.
No, we didn’t change our opinions based on what Rush told us. We already HAD that opinion and Rush let us knew he felt the same and that we weren’t alone. He gave us information to back up our beliefs and be able to win arguments with liberals.
In June of 2005, Limbaugh said,”When this program started in 1988, the liberals, it took ’em a couple years to realize what was actually happening, and it took awhile for them to really gin up this whole notion that you were just a bunch of mind-numbed robots and I’m the Pied Piper. The fact of the matter is, you’ve always been who you are — other than you converts, and we have made a lot of those but for the most part the vast majority of people in this audience have always been conservative. They just finally had somebody come along in the national media that validated what they believed. I may add to your information quotient. You may learn some things, but in terms of your core beliefs you had ’em long before I came along. You’re just now having them reinforced.”
That being said, I think it’s completely ridiculous when I keep hearing stories that Trump needs to do an ad and encourage us all to take vaccines.
Those of us who have gotten the vaccine, will get the vaccine or have decided NOT to get the vaccine, we do so based on our own research and observations. Not because of what Trump or anyone else tells us to do.
Trump might change a few minds if he endorsed the vaccine, but I don’t think it would be many. We have our own minds and make our own decisions.
Americans in general have their own concerns about the vaccines and Trump supporters are no different. They’re looking at side effects, efficacy, long-term effects, risks of the virus, duration of protection, the quickness of the development of the vaccine, the new mRNA technology, the fact that the vaccines were released with an emergency use authorization and other issues.
And then, of course, there is the distrust of the government. They have advised us on so many asinine things since the pandemic started. They have proven themselves to be political and their information is not consistent or scientifically based in reality. Wear a mask, don’t wear a mask, wear three masks, don’t take Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine even though those therapies are saving people, and so on and so on.
We don’t need a “leader” of any kind telling us what to think and what to do. We’ll leave that to the lazy Democrats who don’t want to think for themselves.
