With the election held up in court, the President has yet to concede. He knows, like most Americans that something illegal happened during the 2020 election. Biden spent the entire campaign hiding in a basement and somehow walked away with more votes than Donald Trump, who spent months on the campaign trail. The numbers just don’t add up. But no matter the outcome and if Biden somehow becomes POTUS, President Trump hinted to America and party guests that he would be eyeing a 2024 run.
Celebrating another year at the White House, the President and his family invited guests to enjoy an evening of festivities held at the iconic residence. While enjoying themselves, President Trump emerged to a crowd of applause. Like always, he addressed the crowd and even gave a quick update on the voter fraud and court cases that have tied up the election for some weeks.
Toward the end of his speech, Trump let it slip, or maybe it was a tease, that he would be eyeing a 2024 bid for President. Shocking, he announced, “It’s been an amazing four years. We’re trying to get another four years, but otherwise, I’ll see you in four years.”

First off, this is not the President conceding to Biden. There are already outlets out there claiming that Trump has conceded to Biden and the election is over. That is not what Trump is saying. He is actually in good spirits about the court cases and what may come of them once finished.
What exactly does the law say about a former president running for POTUS once again? Nothing really. It does mention that a President has to be of age and cannot serve over two terms. So, in all actuality, Trump could easily run again in 2024 against none other than Joe Biden. But that would mean that Biden would still be around, and his constant fumbling shows clear signs that he is already out of his depth.
As for Trump ever conceding, it will most likely come after the election is over and the court cases finalized which can be no later than December 8th. The electoral college will cast its vote for President on December 14th and it will either be Biden standing victory or President Trump. Either way, Trump is already looking ahead and preparing for another run in 2024.
