The complete disaster that was the 2020 election has caught the eyes of not just most Americans but people all around the world. The only country where dreams could really come true has become a land of stolen elections and overbearing political parties, especially when it comes to the Democrats. Now, a Kentucky Senator is sounding the horn on the supposed election fraud that helped solidify the election for the Democratic party and Joe Biden.

GOP’s very own Rand Paul told reporters on Wednesday that in many ways the election was stolen from the Republican party. Coming off the heels of President Trump continuing to contest the election results, Paul believes there is more than enough evidence in key battleground states like Wisconsin to prove the election was rigged.

Paul also went on to say, “A lot of the laws that have to be confirmed and I think reaffirmed are state laws, so it’s not in our purview,” Paul said referring to the Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee. “But the state laws are set, and then we have federal elections. So what we’ve heard about what happened in Wisconsin, what happened in Nevada, I think is absolutely true and we have to prevent it from happening again. I think state legislatures will need to reaffirm that election law can only be changed by a state legislature.”

The remarks from the senator has some speculating that the Kentucky Senator will try and challenge the electoral college in the coming weeks. As it stands, Congress is supposed to meet next month to confirm the election for Joe Biden. The GOP appears to be torn as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell urged his party not to challenge the election.

When pressed on the matter, Paul told CNN, “I haven’t thought about it, or made any plans to do anything.” Regarding McConnell’s warning not to challenge the electoral college, Paul said, “I wasn’t part of that phone call.”

As more and more people start to question the results of the election, both parties will have to answer what happened on election night. The question now is why are majority of politicians scared to speak up.
