WATCH: Biden Relates Experience at Community Pool With Black Lifeguards to “The Green Mile”

As if the news wasn’t already depressing, the Democrats continue to steal the election while Joe Biden decided to campaign on his last day. Why anyone would let him talk is beyond me, but they did, and like always – Biden stumbled and fumbled his way through the speech. He even tried to relate to people when he compared hanging out with Black athletes when he was younger to the blockbuster film – The Green Mile.

Before you hit on the link below and watch another episode of “What did Joe say?”, remember that this is the person the Democrats believe will be the best President of the United States. With that said, watch Biden completely buncher his statement below.

Talking to reporters in Delaware, Biden said, “When I started off as a kid getting involved, I had a job with a nice country club kind of pool as a lifeguard. I wanted to work on the east side because I knew, I played ball with a lot of great Black athletes but, you know, I didn’t know them,” he recalled. “I mean, we knew each other, they were friends, but I didn’t know them, and it was a great education. It was like the Green Mile, you know. Have you seen the movie?”

Before the former Vice President asks anyone about the film, he might want to watch it again because there are a few details he forgot. First off, for those that haven’t seen the movie, The Green Mile follows the life of death row inmates during the Great Depression. The 1999 film, based on a novel by Stephen King, is about an African American inmate who claims to be innocent. Throughout the film, the inmates and guards form an unlikely kinship which leads to a devasting ending.

It remains unclear as to which part of the movie Biden was talking about, but it does make one wonder what he was trying to get at. Watching the film over, there isn’t a single part that has a lifeguard or pool, yet Biden claims to have a deep connection with the characters.

For those that believe Biden was just talking off the cuff, he closed his statement with “I’m not being melodramatic. I mean, it really was.”
