Violence. Looting. Protests. These are just a few of the words that describe America in the 2020 election. While the Democrats continue to act like nothing is happening, Black Lives Matter wreaks havoc on cities all across America without any force of resistance. Sadly, it appears Americans are growing even more concerned given the election is just a few days away.

According to new polls conducted by USA Today and Suffolk University, three out of four Americans are worried about the recent uptick in violence and fear that it might worsen after the election on November 3rd. In the same pool of voters, only one out of four believed that there would be a peaceful transition of power if Joe Biden is able to cause an upset and beat President Donald Trump.

Taking a trip back to 2016, 47% of Americans had little to worry about when it came to violence. They knew there was going to be a change of power and 40% believed that it would be peaceful, which according to both parties – it was. But now, people can feel the calm before the storm as only 22% believe there won’t be any violence given the fact that President Trump could cause another upset and win the 2020 election.

With tension at an all-time high and so much on the line, it is easy to see why a third of the country is worried about Tuesday night. Several protests groups have already called for violence if Trump wins re-election. But if for some odd reason Sleepy Joe is able to win the election, 40% of Americans believe there will still be some type of violence either way and the majority of them don’t see a peaceful change of power if Biden was to win.

In preparation for the results of election night, some states are requesting additional support from the National Guard if violence does erupt in their cities. Wisconsin’s Democratic Governor is even deploying an additional 400 National Guard members to polling areas prone to violence. He isn’t the only Democrat to call for help as Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney requested the National Guard support with election preparation and crowd control.
