Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi just showed once how cocky she is about the prospect of Joe Biden winning the presidential election when she went on MSNBC on Monday night to claim that President Donald Trump is “insecure” because he knows he can’t win.

“I feel confident that we will win the House,” Pelosi said. “It’s very possible we will win the Senate, and on January 20, Joe Biden will be inaugurated president of the United States.”

“This president, of all the presidents I’ve seen and studied in American history, is the most insecure,” she added. “He knows he can’t win by letting the people speak their voices, so he’s trying to disrupt the election. We are concerned about foreign powers coming in and undermining the integrity of our elections.”

“He is undermining the integrity of our elections himself,” Pelosi continued. “And why? Because he’s a very insecure person. That’s why he takes cheap shots at everyone. He’s really projecting his own weaknesses, and he recognizes them because he has them.”

Not stopping there, Pelosi also accused Trump of undermining the Constitution.

“Who loves our Constitution and all of the rights contained therein and the beautiful genius of the separation of powers? Not Donald Trump,” she said. “He undermines our Constitution.”

This is far from the first time that Pelosi’s arrogance about the results of this election has reared its ugly head.

“I feel very confident that Joe Biden will be elected president on Tuesday,” Pelosi said last week. “On Jan. 20, he will be inaugurated president of the United States. So while we don’t want to be overconfident or assume anything, we have to be ready for how we’re going to go down a different path.”

“We are confident. We are calm. And we are prepared. We are ready,” Pelosi added of the election.

You might remember how cocky Pelosi and her fellow Democrats were that Hillary Clinton would beat Trump in the 2016 election. Here’s hoping that they end up with egg on their faces today, just as they did four years ago.
