The Chinese coronavirus pandemic has been very hard on the Jewish State, with cities experiencing high population density and a large elderly population. The virus is spreading fast in a ‘second wave’ phenomenon for Israel. This has forced the Israeli leadership to look ‘out-of-the-box’ for solutions. One of these seems to be a willingness to explore the use of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine.
“I recently spoke with Putin about the possibility of purchasing an option for the Sputnik V vaccine. We will discuss in coming days,” Netanyahu said.
Political agendas have roiled vaccine development in the United States, with the Deep State healthcare leadership blatantly delaying any vaccine announcement until after the Nov 3rd presidential election to hurt President Trump’s election chances. The Left in America has also publicly questioned the safety of the vaccines being developed in conjunction with the Trump administration.
The Kremlin has been criticized for rushing certification of its vaccine development for political reasons as well.
Israel seems to be hedging its bets in providing healthcare for its citizens.
