Just how far are the Democrats willing to go to steal an election this coming November? All one has to do is take a look at Texas where a mayoral candidate was arrested and charged with attempting to commit mass voter ballot fraud.
Thanks to the great law enforcement in Texas, Zul Mirza Mohamed wasn’t able to carry through with his plan and is now residing in the Denton County Sheriff’s Office. Mohamed’s plan was thwarted when the Denton County Elections Office received a tip that the candidate was performing illegal practices using the highly controversial absentee ballots. The result from the investigation saw Mohamed facing a massive 109 counts of voter fraud with each count carrying a maximum 20 years sentence.
So, what was the candidate’s master plan anyway? According to police, Mohamed requested over 100 absentee ballots for individuals at a nursing home, hoping to cast votes himself. Using a fake ID to rent a P.O. Box, the police knew something illegal had to be going on and set up a sting. What they found even shocked them when they saw the size of operation Mohamed was trying to execute.
Not wanting to ruin their sting, the Police followed Mohamed back to his house where they finally arrested him. Inside, they found dozens of ballots that had not only been stolen but had been opened as well. It is unclear if any of the ballots were cast and sent back, but according to police – it could have been much worse.
Talking to reporters, Sheriff Tracy Murphree issued a statement saying, “The fact an actual candidate for public office would engage in these activities is appalling. The fact that we caught it this time, doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened in elections past. I’m sure it has. Just people are paying more attention. I think election officials are paying more attention. I think they’re keeping a closer eye on it. I personally believe voting by mail is a dangerous thing.”
The sheriff’s words seem to reiterate what President Trump has been advocating for the past couple of months. Absentee Ballots are a dangerous form of voting. This story and several others like it are beginning to surface, showing that the president isn’t pushing some right-winged conspiracy theory. As it has always been, the safest way to make sure your voice matters is to physically go and cast your vote this coming November.
