Over the past few weeks, reports have been swirling that Prince Harry plans to return to the United Kingdom at some point before the end of the year. Now, however, a source is speaking out to say that Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are “not returning anytime soon” to the royal’s home country.
The insider went on to add that this can of course change if circumstances shift.
“Things can obviously change, if there’s a concern about family health, but they are not hopping over the pond anytime imminently,” the source told Entertainment Tonight, adding that Harry and Meghan are adhering to “social isolation guidelines” amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

This comes after another source said that contrary to reports of drama among the royals, Harry and Meghan have actually gotten closer to the royal family throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
“A lot of the family-specific drama that the tabloids are focused on, it’s not as fractured as the tabloids would like it to seem,” the source said. “The pandemic has brought the family closer together.”
The insider went on to say that Harry and Meghan are excited about the various projects they have coming up that are related to their activism.
“Like any family that’s starting a new adventure, they’re quite excited about everything,” the source said. “They’re firmly focused on their nonprofit and the work they’re doing. They are really committed to their work right now. You’re going to see a lot more of the duke and duchess in the coming weeks and months.”
Harry and Meghan shocked the world earlier this year when they stepped down as senior members of the British royal family. They then briefly moved to Canada before relocating to Meghan’s hometown of Los Angeles, California, where they spent months living in the $18 million Beverly Hills mansion of Hollywood mogul Tyler Perry.
In July, Harry and Meghan moved again after they purchased a nine bedroom mansion in the Montecito area of Santa Barbara. They have since spent the past few months quarantining there with their 1 year-old son Archie. They’ve stayed busy as of late by making various virtual appearance for different causes over the last few weeks.
