This week, the radical liberal Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) took part in an event online that was organized by Hasan Piker, a vlogger who said in 2019 that “America deserved 9/11.”

On Tuesday night, Ocasio-Cortez and Omar participated in an event meant to encourage young people to vote. This event, which was viewed by over 435,000 people, saw the two freshman congresswomen play the popular video game “Among Us” while live-streaming with other gamers.

Ocasio-Cortez said at the start of the livestream that Piker “wrangled” the event together at the last minute, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

This comes a year after Piker attacked Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) in a disturbing video in which he said “America deserved 9/11.” It should be noted that Crenshaw is a veteran who lost his eye while serving in Iraq back in 2012.

“This guy has the understanding of foreign policy of, like, a 12-year-old,” Piker said of Crenshaw. “What the f—. What the f— is wrong with this dude? Didn’t he go to war and like literally lose his eye because some mujahideen—a brave f—ing soldier—f—ed his eye hole with their d—.”

“America deserved 9/11, dude. F— it, I’m saying it,” he added.

After receiving tons of backlash for this hateful comment, Piker clarified his comments.

“I didn’t say Americans deserved 9/11 — I said America deserves 9/11,” he told the Wrap.

…As if that makes it any better?

On Tuesday night, Ocasio-Cortez had been scheduled to take part in an event to honor the late Israeli prime minister Yitzhak Rabin. However, she pulled out earlier this month, caving to pressure from Palestinian activists, and she appears to have decided to play video games with Omar and radical liberals instead. Since dropping out of the event honoring Rabin, Ocasio-Cortez has also refused to meet with various Jewish leaders and community activists in New York City.

Omar may related to Piker’s comments about 9/11, given the fact that she referred to the attacks as “some people” who “did something” at an event for American and Islamic relations in 2019. Ocasio-Cortez was one of the people who rushed to defend Omar’s comments.
