The singer Kelly Clarkson’s talk show is known for being family friendly, which is why fans were left shocked when a blooper reel for “The Kelly Clarkson Show” was released this week showing her drop the f-bomb not once, but twice. This comes after a difficult few months for Clarkson, as she is in the midst of divorcing her husband, Brandon Blackstock.
At one point in the blooper video, Clarkson appeared to be frustrated as she struggled to nail a line while trying to promote something on her program.
“Is this a real thing? What the f**k?” she said.
This happens again not long after, with Clarkson looking even more frustrated with the second f*** bomb.
The video was posted on YouTube along with the caption, “Things don’t always go as planned on The Kelly Clarkson Show, but that’s what makes it so incredibly fun! See some hilarious behind-the-scenes bloopers from season one, and stay tuned for the season two premiere on Monday, September 21.”
This comes days after Clarkson opened up about how hard the past few months have been for her after filing for divorce from her husband back in June.
“It’s no secret, my life has been a little bit of a dumpster personally,” Clarkson told “Sunday Today [1].” “It’s been a little hard the last couple months.”
Thankfully, she added that she has a huge support system that is getting her through this.
“I’ve been talking to friends that have been through divorce, I don’t know how people go through that without having some kind of outlet,” she said. “Because it is the worst thing ever for everyone involved.”
Clarkson has also talked about why she can’t be “truly open” about some aspects of her divorce.
“I am a very open person, but I’m not going to be able to be truly open about this in certain aspects because there’s kids involved,” Clarkson told the Los Angeles Times [2].
“I think that I will navigate a way in which to be open and honest about it eventually, probably via [‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’], and it’ll probably, I’m assuming, happen organically when someone says something in conversation or something,” Clarkson said. “It definitely wouldn’t be planned.”
“But my children and his older children — there are a lot of little hearts involved in this and while people feel, ‘Oh my gosh, what a loss,’ imagine how it is in the epicenter of the storm,” she added. “It’s a lot to process and deal with, just as a family. So because it’s not just me, I probably won’t go too deep with it.”
