It has just been revealed that the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was bankrolled by the father of Ghislaine Maxwell, who was his alleged madam.
An insider told The Sun that Epstein was initially funded by Robert Maxwell, who swindled a pension fund before he was found dead in 1991. Jean-Luc Brunel, a model scout pal of Epstein, is believed revealed Maxwell’s involvement to friends almost 20 years ago.
“He was having a conversation with some acquaintances in New York City around 2002,” the source said of Brunel. “Jean-Luc was telling them how Ghislaine’s father Robert Maxwell was one of the reasons why Jeffrey Epstein had money.”

“He said Maxwell had been one of Epstein’s early investment clients. I assumed that Maxwell had invested in Epstein, who then used that money to make his own,” the insider added. “Jean-Luc also started talking about a book featuring Robert Maxwell and wanted to get hold of a copy straight away.”
Maxwell was found dead in 1991 with his body loating in the Atlantic Ocean, after he toppled off yacht The Lady Ghislaine, named after his daughter. Afterwards, Ghislaine fled to New York City, where she soon began dating Epstein.
Epstein committed suicide in prison last year while awaiting trial on various sex charges. Ghislaine was arrested back in July for allegedly grooming young girls for sex with Epstein, and sometimes participating in the abuse herself. She has been remanded to a New York City prison until her trial, which is scheduled for next July, after a judge deemed her to be a significant flight risk given her immense wealth and international connections.
Prosecutors recently announced that Ghislaine could be hit with even more charges down the line.
“As the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York has stated publicly, the investigation into the conduct of the defendant in this case and other possible co-conspirators of Jeffrey Epstein remains active,” prosecutors wrote in a court filing obtained by Fox News. “The full scope and details of that investigation, however, have not been made public.”
The filing went on to say that prosecutors obtained Maxwell’s 2016 deposition in a defamation lawsuit that her lawyers are fighting to keep from public view, explaining that they used this deposition to charge the 58 year-old British socialite with perjury.
