Ex-Butler Reveals Ghislaine Maxwell Hated Epstein – She Just Couldn’t Leave Him

A former butler of Jeffrey Epstein spoke out this week to recall when Ghislaine Maxwell tearfully admitted that she “hated” the billionaire pedophile, but she couldn’t leave him.

Juan Alessi, who previously worked as a butler for Epstein, alleged that Maxwell would “come out crying” because she was so distraught over her life with his employer.

“I hate him, but … I can’t leave,” Alessi claimed that the British socialite replied when he asked was “staying with this guy.”

“I was like, ‘Why? You have money,’” Alessi said, according to the New York Post [1]. He added that he never got an answer to this question.

Alessi said this on the podcast “Broken: Seeking Justice,” which follows former Epstein sex slave Virginia Roberts Giuffre as she confronts those who knew her during her time with the late billionaire pedophile. The ex-butler said this directly to Giuffre, who agreed that the relationship between Epstein and Maxwell was “confusing.”

Alessi had previously come forward to say that Maxwell enjoyed snapping topless photos of young girls as a “hobby,” and that she had a collection of extreme sex toys. He revealed this in court documents that were unsealed in 2018.

“[Ghislaine Maxwell] had an album full of photographs of people, young girls, girls. And I remember that she had. Like a hobby,” Alessi stated [2] in his 2016 deposition. “It was some girls were topless, taking the sun.”

“I would find things like a dildo, it’s called a double,” Alessi added. “I hate to say it because these ladies. But I find these things, put my gloves on, took it out and rinse it, and put it in Ms. Maxwell’s closet.”

He then claimed to have found a “shiny black costume” in Maxwell’s closet that he believed was used for sex.

During his years working for Epstein, Alessi said he saw “probably over 100” females go into the home. He added that he was sometimes tasked with paying the women to go to the home.

“I used to go to the bank, withdraw $10,000,” he said. “I’d pay them out of petty cash and fill out a receipt. I wish I’d known what they were really being paid for. [Epstein] swore them to secrecy, threatened them if they ever told.”
