400 Michigan ballots that were downloaded from a state’s database recently for overseas and military members had with the wrong Vice President’s name.
Instead of printing Mike Pence’s name with Trump’s name, they said Jeremy Cohen instead. Cohen is the Libertarian Party’s VP candidate. Otherwise known as “Spike.”
We have been told by the democratic Secretary of State’s office that the error was just temporary and fixed in a few hours.
The problem with the ballots even made it’s way to President Trump. He tweeted, “The Democrat Trump Hater Secretary of State of Michigan, purposely misprinted Ballots for the Military, putting the wrong names on the Ballot. This was not a mistake, it was done illegally and on purpose.”
Michigan democratic Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson denied the accusation and said it was an unintended computer glitch. Later, spokesman Jake Follow said it was a combination of a computer glitch and human error that happened when a computer programmer was fixing an issue for Oakland County.
I wonder how many of these errors are going to crop up all over the country – and I wonder how many of them will impact only Republican politicians.
Benson participated in a news conference with democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer and didn’t appear to welcome all of the examination into her conduct. She said, “There’s going to be an incredibly intense amount of scrutiny on our state. And people will be working to pick apart every single action that I, that our clerks take. And when you’re dealing with millions of ballots, millions of voters, millions of people voting from home for the first time, we all have to be focused on ensuring that the process goes as smoothly as possible.”
Democrats are a real prize.
They create the problems to begin with. They are incompetent and make the problems worse.
And then they try to pass the buck when they screw up and can’t do their jobs correctly – and are upset with us when we notice.
