On Wednesday night, fans were shocked when country music stars Carrie Underwood and Travis Rhett made history by becoming first musicians to tie for the title of Entertainer of the Year at the American Country Music Awards. On top of that, Underwood became the first artist to ever win the award three times.

Entertainment Tonight reported that while accepting the award, Underwood listed off “thank yous” to God, the ACMs, fans, and members of her team. However, she missed the three most important people in her life: her husband, former pro-hockey player Mike Fisher, and her two sons, 5-year-old Isaiah and 1-year-old Jacob.

After her huge win, Underwood admitted her mistake in the virtual press room of the awards show.

“First I want to say that I’m a dummy for not mentioning my husband or my children in my acceptance speech,” Underwood told reporters. “You would think after this many years of seeing other people do speeches and give some of my own, I would think of people that are important to me, so I’m sorry! But I do love my children and my husband.”

Underwood later opened up about just how much this historic win meant to her.

“It feels great. Obviously there’s so many people that make our worlds go round, so just to be able to hold this for myself, of course, but also for them, it means a lot. And I like to share,” Underwood said with a laugh. “I like to share with people, so I just think it’s really great that … it’s 2020, nothing’s going to be normal!”

This comes months after Underwood opened up like never before about the many miscarriages she suffered before she gave birth to her second son Jacob.

“I had an honest conversation with God, and I told Him how I felt. I was hurt. I was a little angry and, of course, you feel guilty for being mad at your creator,” Underwood confessed to her fans. “And I told him we needed something. We needed to have a baby or not, ever, because I couldn’t keep going down that road anymore.”
