Joe Biden claimed Antifa was only “an idea” when asked to criticize left-wing violence at the Tuesday night presidential debate in Cleveland. That claim is a flat out lie.

“Antifa’s an idea, not an organization,” Biden specifically said at the debate in Ohio. Saner people disagree.

ANTIFA is an organization, NOT an idea. Joe Biden won’t protect you from this group which calls to:

“Practice things like an eye gouge. It takes very little pressure to injure someone’s eyes.”

“Destroy your enemy.”

Contrary to Biden’s assertion, FBI Director Christopher Wray said recently Antifa was a “real thing” and that the FBI had launched “any number of properly predicated investigations into what we would describe as violent anarchist extremists…To be clear we do have quite a number of properly predicated domestic terrorism investigations into violent anarchist extremists, any number of whom self-identify with the Antifa movement.”

Attorney General William Barr has told CNN, “I’ve talked to every police chief in every city where there has been major violence and they all have identified Antifa as the ramrod for the violence.”

Senator Ted Cruz, R-TX, called the Antifa riots “organized terror attacks…These violent riots are not spontaneous, nor are they mere coincidences. Instead, the evidence suggests they are organized terror attacks designed to instill fear and tear down the fundamental institutions of government,” he told the press.

“If Biden made the comment last year, I think it would be excusable,” journalist Andy Ngo told Fox News. “But by now, we’ve had months and months of rioting where there are clear Antifa-organized elements. We’ve had hearings in Congress related to Antifa. There is evidence in the criminal complaints against some charged showing Antifa ties…Biden’s statement shows that on this subject, he – and the Democrats – want to keep the liberal status quo, which is to downplay and deny the threat of the organized militant far-left…What people need to know about Antifa is that it is an ideology and movement that includes organized cells or groups…You don’t maintain sustained months of rioting in places like Seattle and Portland without members, participants and money.”

As the president noted during the debate, Biden had to tred a careful line, lest he upset his hard left supporters in terrorist groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter. These are the very same people who would staff a Biden administration at all levels. For that reason alone, Biden must not win the November election.
