Hollywood and the entertainment industry hold a double standard when it comes to issues of sexual harassment. When it’s a Republican like Brett Kavanaugh, they want to accuse him of the rape of the Sabine women. When it’s a Democrat like Harvey Weinstein, or those who have supported him, we’re supposed to ignore it and go on with business as usual.
But not all entertainers think that way. In a response to former Trump DNI and Ambassador Richard Grenell, who said that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris had “zero chemistry” at their first joint press conference on Thursday, country singer Meredith Brooks commented, “I thought she believed #Tara @ReadeAlexandra So now it’s ok since he’s making her his running mate? Well that was easy!”

In fact, last year, Harris said of Tara Reade’s rape charges against Biden, “I believe them, and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it.”
So Harris, a self-appointed champion of feminist orthodoxy, gleefully shares a national ticket with a man accused of rape. Remember all the allegations (all proved false) against Donald Trump by the Democrats in 2016? Remember Stormy Daniels? Well, all that has gone down the Orwellian memory hole regarding the Democrats, as a rape accusation against their nominee is blacked out by the leftwing media and not spoken of in polite Democrat circles.
A second critic of Kamala Harris is actress Rose McGowan, who is no hypocrite and holds all politicians to the same standards on issues of sexual misconduct. She called Harris out on her donations from Weinstein, “@SenKamalaHarris How many predators bankroll you?” When Harris’ office claimed they donated the money to another group, McGowan relentlessly hit back.

If this pressure continues from celebs like Brooks and McGowan, it could take the votes of young females —not a strong group for Republicans or the president— and move them away from Biden and Harris. Not toward Trump— that’s a bridge too far. But to the point, as many Sanders supporters did in 2016, where they sit on their hands in the general election.
This would disrupt a pillar of the modern Democrat voting base of single women, minorities, and gray ponytail leftists they need to win any election almost anywhere. For like it or not, Americans pay homage to entertainers and sports figures like ancient Greeks paid subservient tribute to the mythical Gods on Olympus.
If rebel Hollywood types (Hollywood, California. Not my hometown, the sainted and paradise-like Hollywood, Florida) can home in, with the aid of the Republican National Committee and the Trump campaign, on Democrat hypocrisy on sexual harassment allegations, then it could make some even in leftist Tinseltown question the career wisdom of loudly and financially supporting Biden and Harris.
Thus strip the Democrat ticket of gullible celebrity-worshipping single women and Hollywood aid and money and you can strike at their core. Throw in swing voters who also won’t be crazy about Democrat hypocrisy and you just may have the vital ingredients of a formula for a Trump victory.
