Democrats usually have a much better sense of how to read a room than at this moment in history. 

In this case, the “room” is full of the American citizens and the democrats are failing in spectacular fashion.

During today’s hearing with the House Judiciary Committee asking questions of Attorney General William Barr, the democrats jumped the shark by going on record as being apologists and supporters of the AntifaBLM terrorists.

The democrats called them peaceful. They called them protesters. They called them everything but what they are. Rioters and terrorists.

Nadler, who called the Antifa mob a “myth” just two days ago continued his insanity by saying, “The protesters aren’t mobs, they’re mothers, they’re veterans and mayors.”

Luckily Republican Rep. Jim Jordan showed what an idiot Nadler is by playing a video full of the riots, terror and violence that has been going on in democratic run cities for more than a month.

The hearing today had many goals for the democrats and one of them was so that they could justify the terrorism going on in the country. Another important objective for them was painting Barr as Trump’s lackey.

But Barr has never called himself Trump’s “wingman.” 

No, that was Attorney General Eric Holder who described his relationship with Obama that way. Unlike Barr, who believes in blind justice, Holder did Obama’s bidding whenever needed.

Barr insisted at the hearing that he acts independently of the president to treat everyone equally under the law. In fact, that’s exactly what Trump asked him to do. Barr said, “He (Trump) has told me from the start that he expects me to exercise my independent judgment to make whatever call I think is right. That is precisely what I have done.”

But this hearing was not about truth and facts.

It was about going after Barr personally and professionally. His credibility, his character and his oath of office were all questioned by the democrats in their vicious approach to the Attorney General.

And as all democratic hearings are, it was also about getting rid of Trump and anyone who works for him. 

It’s about the election.

The disgusting House democrats went after Barr with outright lies and did their best to stop him from answering with the correct information about his role, policies and actions. It wasn’t a question and answer session. It was a stage for democrats to give speeches. 

William Barr was under oath. Democrats were not. They spouted lie after lie and would not allow Barr to defend himself.

The democrats went after Barr’s character and motives and spent their time filibustering and grandstanding and “reclaiming” their time so they could filibuster more.

In Nadler’s attack on Barr in his opening statement, among many other things, he said, “In your time at the department, you have aided and abetted the worst failings of the president” accusing him of doing Trump’s bidding. This was a theme carried on with the rest of the democrats as well. 

The Democrats want everyone to believe that Barr doesn’t take a breath or a dump without the president’s permission.

The democrat’s contempt for the Attorney General, law and order and the American people were on display throughout the hearing. 

It is abundantly clear that the democrats, on every level, are unwilling to protect us from the AntifaBLM terrorists. Their job, apparently, is to protect the AntifaBLM terrorists from us – and the law.

The democrats have clearly chosen what side they are on and it’s not the side of America.

In an emotional video played by Republican Jim Jordan during his opening statement, you could clearly see that America, and specifically the police, are under siege by rioting terrorists across the country. That is why Nadler cut the video off before the end. He knew that showing the truth is off limits because it’s bad for democrats.

One especially poignant moment was when they showed a dozen or more cops being assaulted with flying weapons. It was horrifying. It wasn’t what we expect to see in America.

At one point during the “questioning,” an exasperated Barr asked, “Since when is it OK to burn down a federal building?” It’s obvious he was as frustrated and incredulous as the rest of us over the democrat’s lack of caring that we have terrorists trying to take over American cities.

Barr described rioters barricading the front door of the Portland courthouse, prying plywood off the windows with crowbars and throwing commercial-grade fireworks into the building to try to burn it down with federal personnel inside. 

These are the “peaceful” protesters the democrats are defending.

Barr also called out the democrats for not denouncing the violence. He said, “As elected officials of the federal government, every member of this committee – regardless of your political views or your feelings about the Trump administration – should condemn violence against federal officers and destruction of federal property.”

Our police deserve better. Our country deserves better. 

But we will never get “better” with any kind of democratic rule.
