“Ever since I have been painting the landscapes of nature have been for me the themes and the source of inspiration.
The walks and observations around me made me think that the creation of nature is actually the greatest art.
There is a multiplicity of colors, shades and shapes in nature.
In constant monitoring of the landscapes one can see change and renewal along with the conservatism and repetition every year about the seasons, each season and its appearance.
Nature teaches how to lead a common life of trees, shrubs, thorns and flowers. There are no preferences in nature. Everyone has the possibility of living side by side, sometimes even within each other.
All of these attract me to walk in nature. I photograph the sights that speak to me.
Photography is a framework and an idea for me. Next, while holding a brush and paints (oil paints) I give myself a free hand to add, change or subtract details.
The oil paints are for me the most suitable both in terms of shades and in terms of texture to reflect the colors in nature. My painting technique has evolved over the years. The multiplicity of colors and shades gives the painting depth and it comes to life.
It is important for me to convey through the painting the experience and feeling I had when I was there and saw the sight. Many of my paintings feature a path – the way I walked in a field or forest.
In the eyes of plants in nature they are like humans – with personality, age and presence. This is why the choice of painting subjects is not necessarily what is considered “beautiful” and “classic” but the “humanity” of objects – almond trees in bloom alongside those in the forest or sabras in summer.
In the paintings of the landscapes of the Land of Israel, I can reach people who love nature and the land and share their feelings in the face of the beauty of creation and the beauty of our land. “
