It’s clear by all the “open-America” protests and the people swarming outside that Americans are tired of being locked up.
It’s been about 2 months and everyone is itching to get outside as the weather heats up.
Many onlookers who are still locking down are worried because they see people are not “social distancing,” and they’ve taken to Twitter to report on it.
This Twitter user named “Tyler” is upset that folks in Detroit are heading to a place called Belle Isle and they’re gathering in groups and he’s tagged Michigan’s governor in his tweets.
In all fairness, a lot of these people are family – it will be very difficult to get families to stand 6-feet apart and if they live together, what is the point in that?
Here’s what Tyler said:
“We’re suppose to be social distancing but can anybody tell me why Belle Isle still remains open? Nobody social distancing out here”

Utah State Parks were also packed to the rafters.
Utah State Parks were also packed this weekend after reopening. Gunlock State Park was full of about 1,000 people, mostly young who were there to freefall dive into the water.
Tweets telling park-goers to use “responsible recreation” were ignored as several parks were packed:
Exploring Utah’s state parks and recreation areas is a great way to exercise, escape cabin fever, and relieve anxiety and stress. However, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we all must do our part in practicing #ResponsibleRecreation.
NOTICE: Sand Hollow, Quail Creek, and Gunlock state parks are currently at capacity. Please check individual social media channels for ongoing status through today and the weekend. #ResponsibleRecreation
Two other Utah state parks, Sand Hollow and Quail Creek, ended up getting packed to capacity on Friday.
Photos from today show there wasn’t much social distancing or mask-wearing.

The good news is, these people who are standing outside are probably much safer than I was at Sam’s Club last week. It was packed, everyone bumping into everyone, some wearing masks, some not, all touching the products, and breathing inside the closed-up germ-infested store.
