We’ve been seeing an endless array of videos portraying law enforcement overreaching and crossing lines in an effort to enforce social distancing rules.
That’s not to say that all LEO’s are “bad” people, they’re not. However, the videos coming out from all over the world are painting a disturbing picture of what panic and fear can do to a society. It can be even more dangerous than the virus itself.

Case in point – in Queensland, Australia 3 men were sitting a bit “too close” on a rooftop, enjoy a beer when a police helicopter spotted them in their crosshairs (literally) and advised them (via a booming bull-horn) that the building was surrounded.
I don’t think I need to mention that this has gone way too far.

It’s great to be careful and cautious, but this “nanny/police state” attitude that’s sweeping the globe is troubling.
It’s going from “virus control” to “people control” very, very quickly.
