This is awkward.

I am not sure how this anchor got this story so wrong, but he really made a mess of things.

I’ll set it up for you:

A young man named Jack caught Coronavirus and became deathly ill. He had a 5-week battle, that included a stint on a ventilator.

MORE NEWS: It certainly wouldn’t hurt if the news folks took an extra minute or two to make sure their stories were correct

But in the end, he made it and was able to walk out of the hospital and headed back home.

Somehow the anchor mixed everything up and reported the man had tragically died and then basically eulogized him on air.

The reporter discovered the mistake after the channel ran footage of the young man leaving the hospital and the governor congratulating the man’s recovery.

It certainly wouldn’t hurt if the news folks took an extra minute or two to make sure their stories were correct and also ask questions that will actually help and inform the American people, not create “political gotcha” moments for the liberal press.
