I’ve never understood tornado “storm chasers.” Whether it’s for the thrill of seeing one up close or knowing the danger factor resulting in you possibly getting swept away is a cloud nine high, again, I don’t get it.

In the video below, the driver almost met his maker, so to speak, while monitoring an extreme up close tornado in Madill Oklahoma on April 22, 2020.

The tornado-damaged town saw structures and trees lifted into the air before transitioning to a rope phase. Many people reported observing a rainbow with this event. Moments after the tornado struck, the sky was blue and sunny. Unfortunately, it was reported that at least one person has lost their life from this twister.
