I think things in New York are bad enough that our fake news media doesn’t have to try and scare Americans more by using footage from Italian hospitals.

The folks over at Gateway Pundit noticed the Italian footage during a broadcast of “CBS This Morning.”

The story discusses the very real concerns happening in New York City, which the “epicenter” for the Coronavirus in America.

However, when they talk about overflowing ER’s and hospitals being overwhelmed they roll footage from a packed Italian hospital that was aired last week on Sky News.

That’s dishonest. They should have at least flagged the video as being from an Italian hospital.

You might think “well, news crews can’t get into U.S. hospitals to gain footage due to the virus concerns.”

Well, that’s not true because later in the segment they do show a doctor and nurse in a hospital hallway in New York City.

You can watch the CBS News video below:

This video is where the original hospital footage was aired via Sky News back on March, 22nd.

There’s no doubt that the situation in New York is serious. But it’s unfair and alarming that our media would just use footage of sick patients from another country and not even bother to alert their viewers.

There was no need to add that footage except to stoke panic.

If you don’t have B-roll from local hospitals, skip it. Don’t use the wrong footage. It’s dishonest.
