“I have proven I can run the city of Baltimore.” LOL…
So far, not one politician has been able to stop the crime in Baltimore, but they are champions of making excuses after excuses. These politicians do not care what people want as long as they line their pockets.
Baltimore citizens need to start voting for people who care about them and the city and don’t use skin color as the litmus test to put someone in the office. Listen to what they say, not what they promise because if you look at the past, it hasn’t worked out.
The current Mayor, Jack Young, said this about Baltimore homicides: “I’m not committing the murders. The police commissioner has not committed it. The council’s not committing it. So how can you fault leadership?”

For the fifth consecutive year, Baltimore witnessed its 300th murder. Authorities confirmed the 300th murder on Thursday and noted the city is on pace to have its most violent year on record. The 300th murder in 2018 was recorded on Dec. 20, more than a month later than the city hit the bloody milestone in 2019.
In a press conference, Young said the violence isn’t the fault of his leadership. He noted that neither he nor Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison have committed any of the 300 murders that took place under their watch. [Washington Examiner]
Young will run for the office of Mayor since he was not elected the last time. He wants to build a new courthouse as his first item of business. Hmm, is that a symbolic gesture that he will be tough on crime, or will that criminals have a trial in a nice air-conditioned room with a nice dining hall before they are released back onto the streets to commit more murders?
As I said before, Baltimore needs positive people that care about the city and want to see the town become beautiful and historical again. The city does not need dishonest people that look to gain a profit or robs the city. We all have a history, but some people’s accounts are not the answer for a city that is crying out for help and to be safe from self-destructive people, and they need for greed.
By the way, Mayor Young, I thought to be a mayor meant you are in “office,” which further means you are in charge.
