A former advisor to Bill Clinton spoke out on Sunday to say that failed 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton firmly believes that “God put her on the Earth” to be president.
The Hill [1] reported that Dick Morris, who was once an advisor to Bill, said in an interview with John Catsimatidis that the main issue in the 2020 election is whether “the ghost of Hillary Clinton” will enter the race.
“My feeling is that she wants to,” Morris said. “She feels entitled to do it. She feels compelled to do it. She feels that God put her on the Earth to do it. But she’s hesitant because she realizes the timing is bad.”

He went on to say that Hillary is waiting for an opportunity to jump into the race and particularly for former Vice President Joe Biden to drop out.
“She’s got to wait until Biden drops out because he’s obviously next in line for it, and if he goes away, there’s an opening for her,” Morris said. He added that Hillary would then replace Biden as the moderate candidate because voters would be looking for an alternative to the “leftist” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.).
“The question is are there enough moderates to beat Elizabeth Warren the leftist?” Morris asked. “Make no mistake. She wants in. She’s planning on it. She’ll do everything she can to achieve it.”
Rumors have been swirling in the past few weeks that Hillary is indeed planning to enter the 2020 race and to run against Donald Trump again. However, Morris also explained some reasons that Hillary is reluctant to run, with one of them being that she is afraid that the “#MeToo movement will turn on her.”
“In the whole issue of sexual harassment, the focus has shifted from the perpetrator, the offender, to the victim,” Morris explained, according to Newsweek [3]. “Now we’re increasingly looking at the women who were victimized and the agony they went through.
“When your focus is on the predator, that’s Bill Clinton’s problem and isn’t directly Hillary’s responsibility. But when you look at the victim and you say, ‘what made her life impossible?’ That’s Hillary Clinton’s responsibility,” Morris added. “When she had private investigators digging up dirt on the women that her husband had victimized to keep them silent.”
Last week, The New York Times [4] reported that Hillary has been telling those close to her that she will run if she’s positive that she can win. However, The Times added that Hillary is skeptical that she actually could beat Trump.
