Charles Barkley
It may be hard to imagine that the physically domineering former NBA star would feel unsafe or insecure, but in a 2012 interview with Bob Costas, Barkley revealed that he carried a gun for this very reason. “I just feel safer with it because we have jocks that get robbed all the time. Road rage and things like that,” Barkley, who has owned a gun since he turned 21, said. “I feel a sense of peace when I have it with me.”
Dolly Parton
The country music star learned to fire guns when she was a child. Her father would teach her during their hunting trips. Later on, Parton would carry a gun for her own protection, which apparently came in handy when she and a friend went to New York. “I was in New York walking with a girlfriend when some man came on to us,” she explained. “He thought we were hookers I guess, and he propositioned us. Well, I stuck my hand in my bag, pulled out my gun, pointed it at him and told him if he didn’t take a hike I’d turn him into a soprano.”
Demi Moore
Demi Moore really likes guns. After she married Ashton Kutcher, her now-ex-husband tweeted a picture of her with the caption “This is why we don’t mess with Mrs. Kutcher.”
That’s not even the half of her love for guns. Take a look at the cake she got for her daughter Rumer’s 26th birthday:
Gun-love seems to run in the family. “Best birthday cake ever,” said Rumer Willis (whose father is Bruce Willis, another gun-lover). “Thank you mama for making this day [so] special.”
