Steve Gruber has been a television professional and on air personality since 1987. His career began in Bozeman, Montana as the weatherman. Later, with his ongoing success as an investigative reporter he earned 2 Emmy nominations. He worked in news for more than 12 years, then made the choice to leave NBC to chase his dream.
In 1993 Steve founded Wolf Creek Productions with photographer Tom Nichols. After leaving NBC he was able to devote all his time to what he enjoyed most: the outdoors. The company has grown into one of the most respected names in outdoor television today. The company’s programs include Outdoor America, The American Archer with Tom Nelson, The American Birdhunter with Tom Knapp and many more. Steve has also enjoyed a very successful talk radio career and hosted the top rated series while hunting extensively in North America, Africa, New Zealand, Alaska, Canada and many more remote locations around the world.
With a proven track record in the outdoor industry; Steve is entering the prime of his career. As the founder of Wolf Creek Productions he is a respected industry professional on both sides of the camera.
